Outstanding Readability in Half the Space

TwinScan^™ Instruments embody a new concept in twin engine analog instrumentation which sets the ultimate standard for easy readability in the least possible space. Each individual instrument contains port and starboard meters which reference to each other. In a single, quick glance the eye can scan the entire instrument panel for non-matching pointers that signal possible trouble. Potentially dangerous and costly engine problems that might go unnoticed on conventional instrument panels are highlighted on a TwinScan^™ panel.

TwinScan^™ instruments reduce the panel space required by 50% leaving more room for other electronics. A new patented miniature meter movement design is the first to allow two meters to fit in the industry standard 2" diameter case which significantly reduces overall installation time. Deluxe Features:

• Tachometer /  MPG / Synch Indicator uses an NMEA 0183 speed signal from a GPS or Loran, and a fuel flow signal from a TwinScan™ GPH instrument to digitally display  Fuel Efficiency (NM/Gal)  or the RPM difference between port and starboard engines.
• High-Low Level electronics controls for separate external alarm lights/horns for water temperature and oil pressure. User resettable alarm levels.
• Internally illuminated pointers provide exceptionally effective night readability. The pointer shaft and a warning light in the pointer hub flash whenever a High/Low alarm level is exceeded.
• Microprocessor electronics for high performance features like electronic dampening, linear dial scales, superior accuracy unaffected by ground voltage shifts.
• Patented, magnetically shielded, precision, miniature air-core meter movement with state-of-the-art engineering features.
• Corrosion free stainless steel bezel (black, white or polished) and molded acetal cases which fit standard 3-3/8" and 2-1/8" diameter holes.
• Reverse polarity and load dump protection exceeding SAE J1810 standards.
• 2" instruments have 140° wide sweep dials with linear scales for readability superior to the 90° scales in conventional gauges.
• Multiple 2" TwinScan instruments can run off a single station VDO or Datcon temperature or pressure sender; no need for dual station senders for multiple stations.  Dual station applications require two sets of 2" TwinScan meters.
• Dial faces: Black on White, or White/Red on Black. U.S & Metric Scales.
